• The goal of the Abu Dhabi South Island Connectivity Plan is to upgrade six consecutive intersections and structures to create a free-flowing corridor that distributes traffic across the four main arterial streets that continue to the downtown core of the city. Once on the new road, drivers will avoid typical junctions that slow down traffic to improve access in and out of Abu Dhabi’s South Island.

• Package 2 includes the upgrade at grade junctions to include by pass lanes.
